TVTropes.org is a website about pop culture and main stream media. It is a very effective website because it has a clean, straight forward design. There is not a whole lot of information or media thrown in the viewers face, it is very organized. There are sections that will take you to different media like the videos or reading more specific articles. Even though it is a clean and has a muted color palette, the website is not boring or plain, it has all the information that a viewer would be seeking if they came to this website. 

DavidLangarica.dev is a portfolio website of David Langarica who is a software engineer and web developer. This website is very effective as well because there is a lot of interactive media that keeps the viewer engaged and interested in the information included on the website. This website is also very organized, it is organized different than the first website because there aren't as many links and sublinks, but the information is arranged in a manner that is easy to navigate and read. The color scheme is very bold and consistent throughout the website, I think the use of black in the color scheme helps make the boldness of the colors not feel so uncomfortable, it feels more comfortable and inviting. Overall both websites are nice to look at, easy to navigate, and have some fun interactive elements.
